Lorenzo
Hi, I am Lorenzo.
I am originally from Italy, but have dreamed about moving north since I was a teenager. Finally, with my studies to become an environmental engineer I got the chance in 2016 to move to Finland. I got super passionate about the Aurora. I was going out every single night with my bicycle taking photos with my semi professional camera. In 2018 I moved even more north in Finland to Rovaniemi. Thre I first studied about the arctic environment in university and then started working as a guide and photographer for Northern Lights. I discovered that that’s exactly what I wanna do in my life. With time and hard work, I am now very proud that me and Luisa we can do professional photography full time. We have our own company, Arctic Road Trips, with which we organise Aurora Trips. We are working with SIGMA Nordic and I even have been on a TV show in Italy. I am a Nikon user and currently shoot with the Z9. And besides Aurora and the Arctic I love travelling to remote, still untouched places.

Luisa
Hi, I am Luisa.
I am originally from southern Germany. I have always loved spending time outdoors and exploring new places. I got my first camera already when I was 10 years old and since then photography never left me. With 16 – after my first holiday job – I bought my first DSLR. After high school I moved to Australia and New Zealand for 9 month where I truly understood that nature and outdoors makes me happy. Back home I started studying tourism in Germany. When it was time so sign up for exchange, didn’t have to think twice before I signed up for Lapland. I just sounded like the perfect place for me. 4 seasons, a strong winter, tons of photography opportunities like the Aurora and so much untouched nature. And I was right. I moved there in 2020 and I am so grateful how life turned out since then. My photography focus shifted to night photography. Lorenzo and me now have our own company organising tours all over Finland, Sweden and Norway doing our best to show our guest the Aurora and all the beauty that we see in this place.
